RS 31:170 - Right of co-owner of mineral servitude to create mineral royalties A co-owner of a mineral servitude may create a mineral royalty out of his undivided interest in the servitude and prescription of nonuse commences from the date of its creation. The consent of the co-owner of the party creating the royalty is not necessary to entitle the royalty owner to receive his proportionate part of production. Acts 1974, No. 50, §170, eff.
