RS 31:69 - Effect of partial conveyances of servitude rights The conveyance or reservation by a mineral servitude owner of a portion of his rights does not divide the mineral servitude but creates only a co-ownership, except that if a person other than the servitude owner acquires all of the rights granted by the act creating the servitude in a specific geographical area, the servitude is divided.
