RS 32:416.1 - Unlawful operation by persons less than seventeen years of age; operation of motor vehicles and power cycles between certain hours prohibited It shall be unlawful for any person who is less than seventeen years of age to drive a motor vehicle or a power cycle upon any highway, street, public road, or public thoroughfare at any time between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. except when accompanied by a parent, tutor, or any other person twenty-one years of age or older, having custody of the minor.
