RS 32:630 - Violations; penalties It is unlawful to manufacture, sell or distribute any brake fluid which is adulterated or misbranded, or which is not registered, or which is without a valid permit as required by this Part. Violation of any provision of this Part is a misdemeanor. The first offense shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000.00 and the permanent cancellation of the offender's permit.
