RS 32:671 - Responsibilities of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police; interstate highways The Department of Public Safety and Corrections, office of state police, shall use its best efforts to respond to calls placed by motorists from call boxes located along Interstate 10 as it crosses the Atchafalaya River Basin between the West Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee and the East Atchafalaya Basin Protection Levee, or to relay the calls to the appropriate law enforcement agency.
