RS 33:1236.16 - St. Martin Parish; solid waste A. The governing authority of St. Martin Parish is hereby authorized by ordinance to provide for the zoning, land use, and siting of any public or private facility for the disposal of solid waste within the parish and the types and quantities of the waste to be disposed of at such facility shall be in compliance with any permit granted by the Department of Environmental Quality. B. The authorization provided for in this Section shall not supersede the authority of the Department of Environmental Quality. Acts 1992, No. 632, §1, eff. July 2, 1992.
