RS 33:1246.1 - Object of the districts The objects and purposes of the ambulance service districts and the governing bodies created under the provisions of this Chapter shall be to own and operate ambulances for the care and transportation of persons suffering from illnesses or disabilities which require that patients receive ambulance care.
