RS 33:1261.1 - Purpose The purpose of an ambulance service district created under the provisions of this Part shall be to own and operate ambulances for the transportation of persons suffering from illnesses or disabilities which necessitate ambulance care. Added by Acts 1982, No. 39, §1.
