RS 33:1369 - Ordinance proposing adoption of code; publication Any ordinance proposing the adoption of the code shall be introduced at a session of the governing body of the municipality or parish and shall lie over for final action until notice of the introduction of the ordinance has been given by publication once in the official journal at least one week before the date on which final action is to be taken on the ordinance.
