RS 33:1658 - Presentation of claims against parish Any person having a claim against any parish, allowed by the proper authorities, shall present the claim within sixty days from the date of allowance to the treasurer. The treasurer shall keep a well bound book, in which he shall make an entry, describing the claim and date of presentation, and also indorse his name across the back of the claim, with the day and date of indorsement. No claim shall be received by him from any sheriff or collector of taxes which has not been so indorsed.
