RS 33:1659 - Oath required of tax collector making claim against parish The parish treasurer shall not receive any claim against the parish from any collector of taxes, unless the collector makes oath or affirmation (to be administered by the treasurer) that he has paid the full amount expressed on the face of the claim and that he has not, directly or indirectly, speculated in the public money.
