RS 33:209 - City court The city court of the larger municipality shall, upon consolidation of the two municipalities, have its jurisdiction, both in civil and criminal matters, extended to include the territory within the new corporate limits and shall be authorized to enforce therein all ordinances of the municipality having the larger population.
