RS 33:2432 - Penalties Whoever wilfully violates any provision of this Part or of the rules shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars, nor more than ten thousand dollars, or be imprisoned for not less than one month nor more than twenty-four months, or both, and shall, for a period of two years, be ineligible for appointment to or employment in a position in the city service. If he is an officer or employee of the city other than an elected official or one in the unclassified service, he shall forfeit his office or position.
