RS 33:2924 - Borrowing to meet public emergency Municipalities may, in cases of public emergency, to be determined by the municipalities, borrow money in sums necessary to meet the emergency. The repayment of such sums shall be a fixed charge upon the revenues of the year next following the year in which the sums are borrowed.
