RS 33:3497 - Agreement with contractor The governing authority may fix the method of payments to contractors and the periods of maintenance. The governing authority may make any pertinent additions in the specifications for the improvements that are necessary to guarantee the contract and maintenance, and may divide the work to invite separate bids.
