RS 33:3742 - Damages resulting from change of grade of streets In suits against municipalities for damages resulting from the change or alteration of the grade of streets or the disturbance of the natural contour of the ground, the damages to be paid to the owners of abutting property shall be determined after deduction has been made of all special benefits and the enhancement in value of the particular property so damaged by the performance of the public work.
