RS 33:3885.1 - Authority of district to employ legal counsel Any sewerage district created pursuant to this Subpart shall, through its board of supervisors, be authorized to employ the services of an attorney when necessary and to fix his fees or salary. The provisions of this Section shall be inapplicable with respect to sewerage districts within the parishes of Calcasieu, Cameron, Jefferson Davis, Lafourche, St. John the Baptist, and St. Charles.
