RS 33:3936 - Failure to authorize bond issue When an election has been called for a board of sewerage commissioners, and the commissioners have been elected, and subsequent thereto, an election is had for the voting of a tax and the issuance of bonds, and the result of the election shows that the bond issue has failed to carry, the board of sewerage commissioners shall cease to exist.
