RS 33:4004 - Compelling connection with sewerage system Any municipal corporation which has or which may hereafter construct, acquire, extend, or improve a sewerage system as a revenue producing public utility, shall compel the connection therewith by all owners of premises within three hundred feet of the sewerage system, and the governing authority of the municipal corporation may adopt the necessary ordinance or resolution enforcing the connections and exacting penalties for non-compliance therewith.
