RS 33:4064.3 - Executive director; employees A. The commission shall, by a two-thirds vote of its membership, appoint an executive director and shall fix his salary and bond. No elected official or commission member shall serve as executive director. The executive director shall hold office at the pleasure of the commission, and his duties shall be fixed by the commission. The commission may only remove the executive director by a two-thirds vote of its membership. B. The commission may employ persons necessary for its efficient administration and operation. Employees of the commission shall be members of the Parochial Employees Retirement System. The commission shall also have authority to obtain legal counsel to supervise and conduct its legal business. Acts 1986, No. 934, §1.
