RS 33:4075 - General superintendent; advisory board The board shall elect a competent and skillful engineer as general superintendent and shall fix his salary, and shall define his duties and powers. He shall hold office at the pleasure of the board. The board may organize and employ a board of advisory engineers in order to arrange and devise an efficient public sewerage and drainage system and to provide an adequate public water supply of pure water. The board may fix the compensation of the advisory board.
