RS 33:423.12 - Town of Iowa; disciplinary action by chief of police Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, in and for the town of Iowa, the chief of police may take whatever steps are necessary to effect disciplinary action concerning police personnel, including but not limited to the suspension of police personnel. Any such disciplinary action shall be taken without regard to race, creed, or color and shall be subject to review by the mayor and board of aldermen. Acts 2001, No. 879, §1.
