RS 33:423.25 - Town of Welsh; disciplinary action by chief of police Notwithstanding the provisions of R.S. 33:423 or any other provision of law to the contrary, in and for the town of Welsh, the chief of police may take whatever steps are necessary to effect disciplinary action concerning police personnel, including but not limited to suspension. Any such disciplinary action shall be taken without regard to race, creed, or color and shall be subjected to review by the mayor and board of aldermen. Acts 2013, No. 120, §1, eff. June 5, 2013.
