RS 33:447.3 - Mayor's court; town of Clinton; additional court costs Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the mayor in the town of Clinton may also impose additional court costs not to exceed fifteen dollars for each offense, as defined by ordinance, on any defendant convicted of a violation of a municipal ordinance. Any additional amount in court costs collected pursuant to this Section shall be allocated to the town of Clinton police department to be used to defray operational expenses of the department.
