RS 33:4504 - Trackless trolleys and motor busses; regulation of rates and services by municipalities of 100,000 or more population Municipalities of the state, having a population of one hundred thousand or more, are hereby granted the exclusive jurisdiction, power and authority to supervise, govern, regulate and control, all trackless trolley busses and motor busses, operating under franchises granted by the municipality, and to fix reasonable and just rates and fares for the transportation of passengers or services rendered by such carriers or utilities.
