RS 33:4545.26 - Eminent domain The Authority created under the provisions of this Chapter is hereby vested with the authority to exercise the power of expropriation or eminent domain to the same extent as all other public utilities in the state of Louisiana in accordance with R.S. 19:1 et seq. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Chapter, this power shall not be used to acquire sites for power generating facilities and shall not be used to acquire the generation, transmission, distribution, fuel, and fuel supply resources, other related facilities or any other property of any unit without the consent of the unit.
