RS 33:4548.2 - Declaration of legislative intent A. It is found and declared that there exists a great and growing need in the state for economic development and the upgrade, rehabilitation, repairing, and construction of infrastructure and environmental facilities in the state to maintain a healthful and safe environment for the people of Louisiana. B. It is the purpose and intent of this Chapter to provide an instrumentality with the authority to provide economic development, infrastructure, and environmental facilities, to assist political subdivisions in constructing, extending, rehabilitating, repairing, and renewing infrastructure and environmental facilities, and to assist in the financing of such needs by political subdivisions of this state.
