RS 33:4567 - St. Tammany Parish Recreation and Parks District; creation; purpose There is hereby created as a pilot project the St. Tammany Parish Recreation and Parks District, the jurisdiction of which shall extend throughout the entire parish of St. Tammany, notwithstanding the provisions of any law to the contrary. The purpose of the pilot program shall be to explore fully the benefits of coordinated efforts in the use of public and private recreational facilities to create a more healthful environment for the residents of St. Tammany Parish.
