RS 33:4574.15 - Five Parishes West; tourism promotion A. In order to provide for the coordination of the promotion and the advertisement and publication of information relating to tourism in the parishes of Allen, Beauregard, DeSoto, Sabine, and Vernon, Five Parishes West is hereby created and shall be comprised of such parishes. B. The tourist commissions lawfully established within the region comprised of such parishes and the parish governing authorities in the absence of such commissions shall cooperate with each other for the promotion of the tourist industry in the region by the promotion, advertising, and publication of information relating to tourism therein. C. Five Parishes West shall have authority to accept through the tourist commissions, or parish governing authorities as the case may be, grants and donations from all sources made to the region for the purposes for which Five Parishes West is established.
