RS 33:4643 - Board of control The governing authority of the parish shall, by ordinance, create a board of control for the war memorial civic center, appoint five citizens of the parish or the territory of the ward affected to serve for terms of one, two, three, four, and five years, and their successors shall be appointed for terms of five years. The president of the police jury shall be a member ex-officio of the board of control of the war memorial civic center. In case of a vacancy for any cause whatever, it shall be filled by the governing authority of the parish for the unexpired term.
