RS 33:4645 - Special tax The governing authority of any parish may submit to the property taxpayers of the parish or any ward thereof, a proposition to vote a special tax for the maintenance and support of the war memorial civic center, which tax, if voted, shall be levied and assessed annually as authorized by the voters, and collected and used exclusively for the support and maintenance of the memorial.
