RS 33:4693 - Receipt as authority for cancellation of improvement lien The receipt issued by the tax collector when presented to the recorder for the parish in which the municipality is situated, shall be authority for the recorder to cancel from the records of the parish the improvement lien securing the notes insofar as they affect the property of the property owner to whom the receipt was issued.
