RS 33:4720.104 - Encouragement of private enterprise The 'Opelousas Redevelopment Authority', referred to in this Chapter as the 'authority', to the greatest extent it determines to be feasible in carrying out the provisions of this Chapter, shall afford maximum opportunity, consistent with the sound needs of the city of Opelousas as a whole, to the rehabilitation or redevelopment of the community improvement area by private enterprise. The powers shall give consideration to this objective in exercising its authority under this Chapter. Acts 2007, No. 380, §1, eff. July 10, 2007.
