RS 33:4741 - Fire limits authorized All municipalities exceeding five hundred population, the City of New Orleans excepted, may provide for the prevention of fires by establishing fire limits and by prohibiting the construction or relocation or removal of frame buildings within such limits, or the construction of frame additions to buildings therein.
