RS 33:4755.3 - Officers; meetings; quorum; employees; domicile A. The commissioners shall at their first meeting and annually thereafter elect from their membership a chairman, a vice chairman, and such other officers as they deem necessary for operation of the business of the commission. The commission shall designate the time and the place within the city of New Orleans for holding regular meetings and shall meet in regular session at least once each month. The commission may also meet upon the call of the chairman, upon the written request of four commissioners, or upon notice by the director of any department of the city of New Orleans as provided herein. A majority of the membership of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of its business. B. The commission is authorized to employ an executive director and such other staff as it may deem necessary and shall determine the qualifications and compensation of such employees. However, all departments, commissions, boards, agencies, and officers of the state of Louisiana and the city of New Orleans, in particular the New Orleans Department of Safety and Permits, the New Orleans Department of Health, and the
