RS 33:4774 - Civil action Nothing contained in any building code shall relieve, lessen, or otherwise diminish the responsibility, liability, or duty of any person engaged in the construction of any building, structure, or improvement to immovable property for damage to property or injury to another caused by or resulting from any defects of any nature in any work performed or acts done by said person.
