RS 33:7807 - Exercise of powers; status of commission The commission shall constitute an instrumentality of the state of Louisiana as a body politic and political subdivision thereof, exercising public and essential governmental functions. The exercise by the commission of the powers conferred by this Chapter shall be deemed and held to be essential governmental functions of the state of Louisiana. Acts 1986, No. 377, §1, eff.
