RS 33:8064 - Commissioners; compensation The members of the board of commissioners may receive compensation in the form of a per diem for attendance at meetings of the board and actual mileage expenses incurred in the performance of their duties as approved by the governing authorities of the member parishes of the district. The members of the board of commissioners shall not receive per diem payments for more than two meetings per month. The maximum rates for per diem and mileage expense reimbursement shall not exceed the rates used to pay the members of the Legislature of Louisiana. Acts 1999, No. 982, §1, eff. July 9, 1999.
