RS 33:9056.1 - Caddo Parish Ambulance Service District Number One; authority of board In addition to the authority granted by and notwithstanding the provisions of this Chapter, the board of commissioners of Caddo Parish Ambulance Service District Number One is authorized to provide ambulance service within the district by contract with commercial, municipal, or nonprofit providers of ambulance services. The board of commissioners of the district may enter into lease agreements with commercial, municipal, or nonprofit organizations primarily engaged in ambulance operations to provide ambulance service within the district.
