RS 33:9058.1 - Ambulance user fees; St. Bernard Parish The police jury of St. Bernard Parish may, through any ambulance service district situated within said parish, assess ambulance user fees for the purpose of funding the provision of emergency medical services in such district. However, such fees may only be assessed upon approval of a majority of the electors of such ambulance service district voting in an election held for that purpose. Any subcontracts let for services covered under this Section shall be let in accordance with the Public Bid Law. Acts 1988, No. 637, §1.
