RS 33:9651 - Parishwide economic development districts; continuation Any parishwide economic development district specifically created by law that is required to adopt a development plan within four years of the effective date of the law creating the district, shall continue to exist and function, notwithstanding that a development plan has not been finally adopted within the period set out in law, and notwithstanding any other law which provides that all power and authority of the district shall lapse, the district shall be dissolved, and all power and authority incident thereto shall become null and void as a matter of law.
