RS 34:3415 - Vesting of title Title to the property and the property rights specified in the petition shall vest in the department upon final court order declaring that the property described in the petition has been taken for the Mississippi River deepening purposes, and the right to just and adequate compensation therefor shall vest in the persons entitled thereto.
