RS 34:466 - Canal system; canal to Jennings The board shall also adopt rules and regulations for the carrying into effect and perfection, of a canal system having for its object the improvement of navigation on the Mermentau River and other streams, so as to obtain, improve and maintain the navigation thereof, particularly by extending navigation via canal to Jennings.
