RS 34:842 - Captains and/or helmsmen of barge towing vessels on Lake Pontchartrain; penalty A. No captain and/or helmsman of any vessel towing or pushing barges on Lake Pontchartrain shall be on duty for more than twelve hours in any twenty-four hour period except in case of emergency. B. Whoever violates the provisions of this Section shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars. On a second or subsequent conviction for violation of the provisions of this Section, the offender shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars. Added by Acts 1975, No. 121, §1.
