RS 34:876 - Shipping articles as evidence On the trial of any person under R.S. 34:874 and R.S. 34:875, a copy of the articles of any vessel authenticated by the affidavit of the captain, sworn to before any magistrate, shall be admissible in evidence to prove that any seaman whose name appears subscribed thereto, has actually signed said articles.
