RS 34:992 - River port pilots; duties; appointment A. There shall be a body of pilots known as the 'river port pilots' whose duty it shall be to provide pilotage services within the operating territory described in this Subpart. B. River port pilots shall be duly appointed and commissioned by the governor and shall serve as provided by law or until revocation of the appointment or commission by the governor in accordance with this Subpart.
