RS 35:196 - Substituted surety company bond; necessity for recordation The surety bond provided for in R.S. 35:194 shall not be recorded in the mortgage records of the clerks of court and ex-officio recorders of mortgages and shall not in any event be an encumbrance against the property of any notary making and executing such bond.
