RS 36:955 - Effective date; budget and appropriations The realignment, merger, consolidation, and transfer of agencies and/or of their powers, duties, functions, and responsibilities, as provided for by this Part, shall in all events be completed and become operative and shall be effective no later than December 31, 1977. The executive budget and the general appropriations bill prepared for submission to the legislature at its 1977 Regular Session shall reflect the organization of the executive branch of state government as required by this Title.
