RS 37:1276 - Reciprocity; other states The board may issue a license as provided for in R.S. 37:1274, without examination in this state, to any applicant possessing a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine, whether allopathic or osteopathic, or osteopathy in any other state of the United States provided the board is satisfied that the license from the other state is based upon an examination and other requirements substantially equivalent to the requirements of this Part.
