RS 37:1360.69 - Orders to nurses Notwithstanding any law or rule or regulation to the contrary, including but not limited to Chapter 11 of this Title, it shall be considered to be within the scope of the practice of nursing as defined in Chapter 11 of this Title for a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, and any other health care provider licensed under Chapter 11 of this Title to execute and effectuate any order or direction otherwise within the scope of the practice of said health care provider when that order is within the scope of practice of medical psychology and given to him by a medical psychologist licensed under Part VI of Chapter 15 of this Title, and, when given in an institutional setting, the order is within the scope of the privileges granted to the medical psychologist by that institution.
